A pastoralist hailing from Issa Muse/Abdalle Qoyan sub-clan armed with a dagger reportedly assaulted and injured another pastoralist hailing from Abdalla Arab sub-clan in the vicinity of Boodhley village (30km N of Burco) on 08/04 following a dispute over land ownership. Police arrested the perpetrator while the victim succumbed to his injuries later in a hospital. The incident reportedly triggered tension and panic among the warring clans in the village concerned about possible revenge killings.
