Reports indicate that unidentified assailants made a drive-by shooting at Karaama One Hotel & Restaurant in Bosasso in the evening of 11/04. The Hotel was hosting a meeting by Ali Saleban elders at the time of attack. The motive of the incident is yet to be confirmed but unconfirmed sources suggest that the incident is an act of retaliation by Omar Mohamud sub-clan for the killing of a prominent businessman in February 2016. The perpetrators escaped from the scene. The incident led neither to casualties nor to arrests. |
