ISWA special police and military forces went on security operation to Raydabow (22 KM NW of Buur Hakaba) on 24/04. First al Shabaab left the village without resistance but left some operatives back in town. Special Forces surrounded a house were some fighters stayed and tried to arrest them. First reports state that one fighter exploded while five others were shot and killed. Three al Shabaab fighters were taken into custody. Elsewhere on the town, military forces clashed with al Shabaab, killing three, and taking their bodies to nearby Buur Xakaba. |
