Security sources revelead that the People's National Army forces in the operational sector of El Oued Province eliminated the commander of armament of Al-Qaeda in the Land of the Islamic Maghreb [AQLIM], the so-called Chounoufi Mohamed Ech Cherif, aka Loukman Abi Mohamed, together with two senior emirs in the organization, the emir of Chaambi [mountains on the border between Algeria and Tunisia] Khalifa Markhi, aka Aba Nasir, and the emir of a detachment active in El Ma el Abyadea. The sources said that they were eliminated after they oversaw operations of smuggling arms and taking them to Algeria. |
