SNGF attacked Buur Weyn Village (29km N of Bulo Burte) early in the morning of 13/02. Al Shabaab vacated the village without any resistance but re-grouped with reinforcement from other al Shabaab fighters and attacked Buur Weyn before mid-day. Although SNGF received also reinforcement from other SNGF units, they were defeated by al Shabaab and had to vacate and returned to their base in Bulo Burte.
