The protests comes a day after pro-Somaliland elders from Dhulbahante held a press conference and condemned the militiamen loyal to Khatumo who killed two Habar-Jeclo herders in Geed Xamarka village near Carro Wayn village (45km NE of Buuhoodle). The protesters marched in the streets of the town chanting anti-Somaliland slogans and burned tires while also damaged and destroyed windscreens of private vehicles.
