An al Shabaab car-bombing and subsequent raid kills more than 60 AMISOM-ENDF soldiers when it detonated at a Halgan military base on 09/06. The soldiers inside responded, killing "several" of the attackers. Al Shabaab quickly claimed to have killed 60 Ethiopian soldiers and lost 16 of its own fighters.
